DRYADS

DRYADS is an interactive music installation inspired by the spirit of the forest. The dream-like, meditative composition is reproduced over a 3D audio system made of flat panel live edge wood slabs, with input from participants through holding and manipulating two smaller wood totems. We turned each wood slab into a large format flat panel loudspeaker by milling out pockets and embedding vibration transducers on the surface of each.

The piece has been exhibited at One World Trade, Future of Storytelling, Mana Contemporary, and Future Space.
